The design process
We start with a free in-home measure. From there our team drafts two or three layout options, prices each one, and hands you a full 3D walkthrough. You revise, we revise, and only once you're 100% signed off do we place the cabinet order.
Why 3D design pays for itself before demo day
Every expensive kitchen mistake is a decision made from a flat floor plan. The island that blocks the refrigerator door, the pendant lights hung over the wrong sightline, the drawer bank that hits the oven handle, all of it is invisible on paper and obvious in a 3D rendering. Our kitchen design service exists to catch those problems while they still cost nothing to fix.
The rendering is also where the budget gets honest. We price two or three versions of the same room, semi-custom versus full-custom cabinets, quartz versus quartzite, keeping the soffit versus removing it, so you can see exactly what each upgrade buys and decide with real numbers instead of allowances.

What our designers sweat over so you do not have to
Good kitchen design is mostly logistics. Where does the trash pull-out go so it is reachable from both the sink and the range. Does the dishwasher door clear the island when it is open. Is there a landing zone next to the refrigerator for groceries. We design to the kitchen work triangle, then adjust it for how your household actually cooks, bakers get a lowered counter section, big families get a double-run island with seating on the far side.
We also design around the boring constraints that derail projects mid-build: the load-bearing wall you hoped to remove, the HVAC chase hiding in the pantry corner, the window height that dictates where the backsplash dies. Because our designers sit in the same Lawrenceville shop as the people who fabricate and install your kitchen, nothing gets drawn that our crew cannot build.
Design for remodels, new builds, and contractors
Most of our kitchen design work is for homeowners remodeling in Suwanee, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, and Lawrenceville, but we also draft kitchen and bath packages for builders and contractors who need shop-ready drawings and cabinet schedules. If you are a contractor, we can take your field dimensions and return a buildable, priced cabinet package your trim crew can set from.
Either way, the deliverable is the same: a rendering you approved, a set of dimensioned drawings our shop builds from, and a fixed quote with no surprise allowances waiting at the end.

Do you charge for kitchen design?+
Design is included at no charge when you move forward with our install. Standalone paid design packages are also available if you're doing the work yourself.
How long does the design phase take?+
About two weeks from the in-home measure to a final approved 3D rendering and fixed quote, including one or two revision rounds.
Can you design around appliances I already own?+
Yes. We record every appliance model and dimension at the measure, and the design is drawn so existing appliances fit with proper clearances, or so new ones slot in without cabinet changes later.
