Design choices that make a bathroom work harder

The best custom bathroom vanities are designed around a morning routine, not a catalog page. If two people get ready at once, we split the drawer stacks so each person has their own storage and the plumbing wall keeps both sinks at a comfortable distance. If the room is tight, a floating vanity opens the floor visually and makes a small guest bath feel a size bigger.

Storage details matter more in a bathroom than anywhere else. We build U-shaped drawers that wrap around the trap so the space under the sink is usable, add powered in-drawer outlets for hair dryers and electric toothbrushes, and spec tilt-out trays at the sink front so the false panel earns its keep. None of these add much cost. All of them get used every day.

Materials that survive a wet room

A bathroom vanity lives in the harshest room in the house, steam, splashes, and hairspray every day. We build vanity boxes from furniture-grade plywood, never particleboard, and finish them with the same catalyzed coatings we use on kitchen cabinetry, so the finish resists moisture and wipes clean instead of softening over time. Toe kicks get a sealed finish all the way to the floor where mop water actually lands.

For tops, quartz is the practical choice in a family bath, non-porous and unfazed by toothpaste and cosmetics. Marble is beautiful in a powder room or primary bath where you accept a little patina. Either way, we fabricate the top in our own shop, cut the undermount sink, and dry-fit it before install day.

From measure to install in about four weeks

A custom vanity project starts with a quick in-home measure, or a visit to our Lawrenceville showroom if you want to see door styles and finishes in person first. We draft the vanity to your exact opening, price it as a fixed quote, and build it in our shop. Most vanities are fabricated in about three weeks and installed in a single day, including the countertop, sink set, and faucet hookup.
